“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body,” (1 Cor. 6:19-20).
I became oddly fascinated, albeit highly suspicious of one infomercial in particular: Turbo Jam. The perky blonde lady who led a type of kick boxing cardio party guaranteed me a “ten pounds in ten days” loss of weight. She assured me that a beginner level of fitness was perfectly fine. Insomnia kept me up watching and re-watching that infomercial until I finally grabbed my credit card. I started a process in the wee hours of the morning, 2008. Little did I know it would have such an affect on me.
After seeing results with home fitness, getting back into the exercise industry, the gym, and working out, I felt different, energized. 2009 brought P90X into my life, along with more training, certifications, and focus. I started to write down my goals, I reached out to accountability partners, began my travels into clean eating. I started listening to God, rather than ignoring Him. 2010 I added P90X One on One, running, swimming and biking to my routine. 2011, I met the creator of P90X, won a “transformation” contest, added Insanity and Asylum to the agenda, and became an Independent Team Beachbody Coach. My journey continues. Let me help you with yours.
